Exclusively developed by EART Lacquer Guitar R&D Center, led by Professor Tang Xuxiang (Doctoral Supervisor of Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University) and guided by Teacher Chang Ruihong from Shandong University of Art & Design throughout the R&D process. Based on the academic accumulation and craft research of top art colleges, it accurately integrates the intangible cultural heritage of lacquer with modern guitar-making aesthetics, endowing each guitar with irreplaceable professional height and artistic value.
This product centers on the intangible cultural heritage of lacquer craftsmanship, embodying the contemporary reinterpretation of traditional totemic motifs in musical instruments. With its ingenious design concept, it anchors the core imagery of "Spirit Snake," featuring a serpentine body rendered in crystalline textures that flow and coil along the curves of the instrument. This design not only preserves the dynamic tension of traditional patterns but also enhances the visual distinctiveness of modern instruments through black-background contrast, achieving a perfect fusion of Eastern aesthetics and contemporary instrument forms.
Employing the traditional lacquer art technique of "multi-layered coating + inlaid textures," the piece undergoes multiple rounds of lacquering, air-drying, and meticulous polishing. It then achieves a lifelike serpentine form and crystal-textured finish, showcasing the layered texture of intangible cultural heritage craftsmanship. Every curve of the serpent's body and transition of its crystalline patterns bears unique handcrafted marks. Anchored in intangible cultural heritage, it embodies the spiritual essence of the "Ling Snake"—its dynamic breakthrough and eternal vitality. The design subtly mirrors the serpentine rhythm of the Ling Snake and the melodic fluctuations of the guitar, extending the contemporary aesthetic and cultural value of traditional lacquer craftsmanship. This elevates the instrument into an aesthetic vessel that combines cultural heritage and artistic collectible value, possessing exceptional rarity and collectible potential.
