Hello, my wife bought me an Explorer 1 standard several years ago, because she liked the colour.
I kindly thanked her, since I had never heard of the brand.
I would like to express my deep gratitude for this gem! It is my favourite, despite having several top end Gibsons, Fender etc, this feels like one of them.
That said, I did change all the electronics, and installed frames for pickup adjustments, the bridge and tuners stayed. I understand what market it was intended for, and it does the job out of the box. Where it counts is outstanding, stainless steel frets, and set up perfectly.
I receive compliments regularly on the unique color, wood, and finish.
